Terms of Purchase

shop.vandenbeld.fr sells goods to people and companies living in the EU. To purchase anything on shop.vandenbeld.fr you must be 18+ and of legal drinking age in the country where you reside. The products we sell are all made in France.

Ordering

Ordering is done on our website shop.vandenbeld.fr. Please read our shopping guide for if you have question on how to order. If you still have problems placing an order, do not hesitate to contact us. Completed order means that you accept our terms and conditions of purchase and consent to the registration of your data required to place the order, or organization information in our customer register. A purchase agreement is only made when we have confirmed the order by sending an order confirmation to the email address you specified. We reserve the right to correct orders if delivery cannot be made for any reason, and if you have placed multiple orders we reserve the right to combine your orders and deliver them in one package.

Prices and product images

All prices are stated in euros including VAT. Any shipping costs are added, depending on the order amount, your country of residence and which shipping option you choose when ordering.

The product images on the website do not guarantee that the exact appearance and nature of the item is reproduced. We reserve the right for any errors in the product information and reserve the right to change product information and prices without prior notice.

If wine is corked or not available

Unfortunately wine being a natural product it is possible to have a corked bottle sometimes. Because this can happen at any time with any bottle it is not possible to return the bottle to us. Because it is simply impossible to verify whether or not it is truly corked (By the time the bottle reaches us, it will most definitely have oxidized).

All products and services are subject to availability. Wine is an agricultural product and runs out from time to time. Occasionally we have to substitute wines for another vintage or an alternative wine of equal or greater value.

shop.vandenbeld.fr reserves itself for any errors in price and product information or otherwise on the website. In the event of any inaccuracies, shop.vandenbeld.fr reserves the right to correct this afterwards. We reserve the right for price adjustments, final sales, inventory differences, technical problems, changes to technical specifications and any typographical errors on our site or in our advertisements. We reserve the right to cancel incorrect orders.

Personal data

In connection with your order and/or account registration, you agree that we store and use your data in our business to complete and provide the service you can expect from us. All personal data processing takes place in accordance with the data protection regulation.

The information you provide about yourself is used by shop.vandenbeld.fr and our partners for payment and delivery. We guarantee that no information about you will be sold or passed on to third parties. Read more about how we process your personal data in our privacy policy

We reserve the right to cancel orders that contain incorrect personal data or where the customer has payment complaints.

All content on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, images, sound clips, digital downloads and other software, belongs to shop.vandenbeld.fr or our suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

Shipping and delivery

shopvandenbeld.fr normally handles your order within three days (weekdays excluding holidays) from ordering until the item leaves our warehouse, provided we have the item in stock. When the goods have left our warehouse, delivery responsibility passes to the shipping companies that deliver your order within the specified time for the selected shipping method. shop.vandenbeld.fr cannot provide any delay guarantee for goods that are not in stock at the time of ordering or for goods that have left our warehouse. This means that the total delivery time before the product reaches you may be longer than what is stated as normal for the selected shipping method.

We reserve the right to restrict deliveries in certain areas. This includes the right to withdraw our services to individual customers’ addresses if you are repeatedly unavailable to take delivery of your order or in other exceptional circumstances.

Payment

At checkout you can choose between the payment methods : Ideal, bancontact, credit card and apple pay. Read more about the different payment methods here .

Right of withdrawal and return

As a customer living in the EU, you always have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to the Act on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises. The cancellation period starts from the day you received the item. The item needs to be returned in an unchanged condition (This includes the box where the wine was delivered in) for you as a customer to receive a full credit. Bottles that have been opened cannot be returned.

If you think you are however eligible for a return please follow these step :

Email us at  info@vandenbeld.fr. We need the following information:

a) order number (found in your order confirmation, on the delivery note or invoice)

b) your name and contact details

c) number and name of the products that are desired to be returned

shop.vandenbeld.fr must confirm that the return is permitted and that the cooling-off period has not passed before the goods are sent back. The customer is responsible for return costs.

We will provide a return address if you are eligible for a return. Do note that sending anything back to us before us confirming your eligibility, you withdraw your rights of a refund.

If your order arrived damaged and or broken or if you notice any damage upon delivery please refuse taking it. This way it will get sent back to us. In both cases contact us as soon as possible. If you have already accepted the delivery please send us photos of the damaged items, the box and the label on the box.

Legal drinking age

It is against the law for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy intoxicating liquor or for any person over the age of 18 to buy or attempt to buy intoxicating liquor for any person under the age of 18. VANDENBELD wines B.V. is committed to upholding its legal and social obligations as a retailer of intoxicating liquor. By placing an order you confirm that you and the recipient of the wine are at least 18 years old/and of legal drinking age in the country where you reside. If our couriers are in doubt of the age of the recipient of an order they will request some form of ID. In the event that this is not satisfied they are not permitted to leave the wine.
